The Nerf at Smyths Toys Superstores project is one where the River Film team managed to elevate the appeal of the product within its sector by implementing an innovative visual effects approach.

Nerf had previously used Americanised quotes like “Nerftastic” and “dude” in their UK marketing. We were tasked by OMD creative director Ann Wixley and Hasbro gaming to bring a much more creative and engaging approach to Nerf UK.

Following the River Film creative production, OMD highlighted how successful the campaign had been with some amazing metrics including raising Nerf to account for 20% of Hasbro sales at Smyths in week two and the overall Nerf sales increasing by 152% YOY by week two.
